The location of your university campus matters a lot. This place is going to host you for at least two years. You are going to use its roads, and public transport infrastructure. You are going to make this city into your home. Rent prices, food prices and other things like, air quality, security, are just some of the factors. This is the reason you need to pick the right city to live. Make sure you are making the right place for your home. For this reasons we have not only identified the best countries about some of the best cities to study abroad in. The purpose of this article is to provide a brief snapshot of what students can expect to experience in some of these places. Another aspect that is important are the factors that affect the lifestyle within these cities.

Being the South Korean capital Seoul has managed to achieve this ranking based on various factors. A lot of people have termed it “the new Tokyo” minus the yakuza though.

According to a survey Sydney has made great strides forward in improving its ranking from 13th to 9th. Australia’s largest city is home to the famed Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It is not only a famed tourist destination but also a giant business hub for the Asia-Pacific region. Home to numerous industries and corporate offices, Sydney has become home to a large community of international students. With globally ranked universities scattered around the city, Sydney is a desirable destination for a lot of international students.  It’s also one of the most diverse cities in the ranking, coming second after Melbourne for the Student Mix category.

8. Zurich

Switzerland, the name is enough to be proof of desirability. The country is known for its pristine landscapes and lucrative banking. The country where chocolates and watches are a way of life. Zurich is Switzerland’s largest city. According to surveys it is up from 15th to 8th position for international students. The city is home to some of the most attractive spots on the northern shore of Lake Zurich, surrounded by snow covered mountains, and is consistently named one of the best in the world for overall quality of life. Of Course all this isn’t cheap and one of the major reasons why Zurich is high quality is largely due to high costs.  

7. Berlin

Home to some the best car manufacturers in the world Germany is an amazing country and its capital is certainly up to the mark. Berlin is an amazing metropolitan city with amazing history, surrounding natural beauty and highly ranked universities all over the city and its surrounding areas. Berlin is Europe’s coolest city. It has some of the bes tnightlife in Europe. It is known to be safe and the strong German economy makes sure that the quality of life in term of supporting infrastructure is of high quality. This is the reason why international students love living in Berlin. If you are going to call another city home than Berlin is one of the best homes you could end up in.

6. Munich

It is no surprise there are two German cities in this list. The country is home to some of the finest universities in the world. The academic culture in Germany is recognised to provide some of the highest quality education a student can attain. A city hardly heard of by many Pakistanis and often confused with Zurich, Munich is up three places to rank sixth in numerous surveys conducted internationally. It is above Berlin in many ways. Overall Germany has a strong economy when it comes, and Munich definitely has a stronger economy than the other cities of Germany. A lot of surveys have dropped it to the 5th position from 1st position. But it no way means that Paris is a terrible place to be. It is an exciting city full of culture. It is home to a lot of internationally acclaimed universities. The French educational system provides students with a solid system which allows you to attain high quality of education. Not only is ‘the ‘City of Lights’ a stunning place to live, it also offers rich and vibrant culture and cuisine.

When people think of Canada they think cold weather and a cup from Tim Hortons. Canada is more than just cold weather and maple syrup. It is one of the largest economies on earth. It is home to some of the best universities in the world. It provides both access to a high quality education, economy and infrastructure. Montréal is one of the major cities in Canada and according to surveys it can be placed at number 4 on this list. The city manages to blend the legendary Canadian politeness with the classic French snobbishness. It delivers a culture which stimulates intellect, taste palette and ambitions.

Melbourne is known as Australia’s cultural capital, with a jam-backed calendar of cultural events. It’s even been recognized as a UNESCO City of Literature. Not only that, the city is a major centre for street art, music and theatre.
